I found the room cozy and well-equipped with free chocolate and coffee, making it a pleasant place to rest after exploring. However, the small size of the room could be a concern for some travelers, and I experienced some challenges with the lack of an elevator and room cleaning protocols. The atmosphere was charming, but the steep staircase may pose difficulties for some guests.

Just spent 5 nights at Downtown Inn and loved it! Vanda, the owner, was super helpful with local tips, and the location was perfect for exploring. The charming building and cozy room made everything feel authentic, despite a bit of a musty smell. Definitely returning!

The location was superb, central to many attractions.
Accessing the room involved climbing 31 steep steps, which was challenging for us. The room felt more like a ‘posh hostel’ with a list of rules displayed, which detracted from a genuine hotel feel. Additionally, the bathroom was quite cramped, and the Saniflow system was noisy and unpredictable, making our stay uncomfortable.

Just a solid selection for a lightning stop in Lisbon with best value for money ratio. The cozy room had a little fridge which was super handy for storing snacks after exploring the city. Be prepared for some steep stairs to access the rooms.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of attractions within walking distance. We loved our trip to Bairro Alto for its lively atmosphere and great food options. The owner was very approachable, helping us find the best spots for our family of seven.
My kids wished for more space in the room.

Four nights in a cozy double room revealed the charm of this well-maintained, traditional guesthouse. The location was ideal, offering a tranquil escape at night while being situated close to many attractions. Complimentary bottled water and a small fridge enhanced convenience, but the steep climbs to access the room were a workout, and my experience was slightly impacted by the noise from the Saniflow bathroom system. A few extra bath amenities would have been appreciated too.

Climbing up the steep staircase was a bit of a workout. A few more bathroom amenities would’ve been nice.

The steep staircase adds charm but might be a workout for some! Although compact, the room had a cozy feel. Loved the nearby restaurant next door, perfect for a quick bite after exploring. Remember to embrace the quirks of the Saniflow. it’s all part of the experience!
